The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers into the community.
SASSA will probably be rendering solutions for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency mentioned it can be alarmed about the higher number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your superior variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office devoted to service the area daily. The service point created for intervention encounters a large inflow of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it tough to the office sassa status check to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra means to empower the servicing of all customers and maximize entry to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
